Tafika Zambezi is derived from the local
Shona dialect Tasvika Zambezi, meaning we have arrived on the Zambezi.
You will have arrived at one of our most scenic and best appointed
camps in the heart of the Lower Zambezi Valley.
This area offers fishermen the opportunity to fish
for Africa's premier freshwater game fish, the Tigerfish (Hydrocynus
vitatus) whilst enjoying some of the continent's most impressive
big five country. Fishing this section of the Lower Zambezi
is an opportunity not to be missed as it is renowned for being one
of the world's most rewarding destinations for Tiger fishing.
Your private accommodation will offer you a view of
the largest, most famous river in Southern Africa. Tafika Zambezi
camps are fully catered facilities inclusive of accommodation, all
meals, refreshments, boat hire, tackle and bait. You will share
the pool, bar, and dining area with other guests and, while relaxing
and reliving the day's adventures you will look out on to the magnificent
Zambezi.
